Imo Government To Expedite Work On Rural Roads in Ngor Okpala - Sir George Ezenna Eche




The Secretary to the Government of Imo State Sir George Ezenna Eche today,assured the people of Ngor Okpala, that work on the three roads, spanning over 65 kilometers being executed by the rescue mission administration in the area,will experience a boast this week.
The SGI stated this at the Umuohiagu country home of the member representing Ngor Okpala in the state house of Assembly Hon Obinna Egu, while addressing political stakeholders in the LGA . He said the assurance became necessary, owing to some news report making rounds especially in the social media,that Imo government has abandoned the roads. He said that on the contrary, the government has fully mobilized the said projects up to its earth compartment stage.
Sir Eche ex rayed His Excellency's love for the people of Ngor Okpala which according to him,made Owelle to award up to 65 kilometers of roads as against other LGA's that got between 20 and 30 kilometers. He called on his people to show understanding and support for this government, describing it as their own. He assured the people that the said roads will advance to appreciable stages before the commencement of the rains.
 
Earlier in his welcome speech, Hon Obinna Egu thanked his guests for finding time to come and pleaded on every stakeholder, to assist in mobilizing their people towards registering as voters in the on going continuous voters registration exercise, describing it as the only weapon in retaining or ceasing power from the opposition.
Contributing, the Okenze Ngor Okpala Okenze Obinna,thanked the organisers of the summit and called for restrain on the part of mischief maker while advising the people to always work in unity.

The Ngor Okpala political stakeholders forum is an umbrella organisation where elected representatives, political appointees, captains of industries and indeed,all the elites of Ngor Okpala extraction, gather from time to time,to discuss issues of common interests.
