35 Nigerians comprising 30 males and five females, were today deported by the government of the United Kingdom for committing immigration-related offences. The deported Nigerians arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMlA) Lagos in a chartered Titanic airways aircraft at about 5.50 a.m. Recall that in March, the UK also deported 23 Nigerians for immigration related offences.

Three more men have been arrested in Manchester in connection with the attack that left at least 22 people dead at Manchester Arena.   Greater Manchester Police said the arrests were made in the south of the city, where a 23-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with Salman Abedi's bombing on Tuesday . An 8-year-old girl has died in Lagos after she was beaten to death by her female employer. The suspect, who is a mother-of-two and pregnant with her third, was reportedly in the habit of maltreating the victim and a second house help living with her. According to neighbours, the suspect, known as Oby in her neighbourhood in Isolo, 'usually beats and overworks' the deceased, Miracle Edegwu, and her colleague. She had also withdrawn both girls from school after she brought them from Anambra state to Lagos. When neighbours confronted her about the way she treated the girls, she remained defiant and told them to mind their business. Early on Saturday morning, she launched another attack on the little girl, leading to her death. After Miracle died, Oby tried to cover her death by contacting people to assist in covertly disposing of the body but they were caught by neighbours who then reported to the authorities. The Enugu State police command has issued a warning to the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB and Biafra Independence Movement, BIM against forcing it members to stay indoors on May 30 , a day slated to celebrate the 50 years of declaration of the defunct Biafran Republic. IPOB and BIM had given a sit-at-home order to people of the region to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the declaration of Biafra by the late indigenous leader, Dim Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.  They are said to have been sending messages via Whatsapp and Facebook to it members to observe the special day by staying indoors as a sign of respect for those who died during and after the three years civil war from 1967 to 1970. A 69-year-old man died of a heart attack while masturbating live on camera on a popular LGBT website. Acting President Yemi Osinbajo , SAN, has directed the resumption of 24-hour operations at the Apapa Port and out rightly banned touting by officials or unofficial persons at any port; be it air, land and sea ports in Nigeria.  Prof. Osinbajo had on Thursday signed three Executive Orders dealing with the business environment, local content in public procurement and timely budget submission. A Federal High Court on Friday in Lagos ordered the final forfeiture of the N449.6 million found in an abandoned Bureau de Change at Victoria Island to the Federal Government. The money was recovered in Lagos by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) . The forfeiture order was made by Justice Mohammed Aikawa , following a motion on notice taken before him by the anti-graft agency. The judge ordered that the money should be forfeited to the Federal Government as nobody had come forward to claim it. On April 19, Aikawa ordered temporary forfeiture of the money and adjourned for one Mohammed Tauheed , who was joined as a respondent or any other interested party to appear. When the case was called on Friday, Counsel to the EFCC, Idris Mohammed , told court that the interim order of April 19 was advertised in a newspaper on May 11, to bring the case to the notice of Tauheed and any interested party.
