Personal Assistant to president Buhari on social media, Lauretta Onochie has in her facebook post referred to the leader of The Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) in person of Nnamdi Kanu as little. She also said that very soon he will be dealt with and placed where he belongs. According to her, Kani has disobeyed the three main conditions for his bail.  She also said that time will soon come when Nnamdi Kanu will be locked up, and the keys thrown into the Atlantic Ocean. IPOB will sack Okorocha in 2019 –Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, on Friday, said that the secessionist group will send the governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, back to Jos in 2019. Kanu who spoke in Owerri when he visited the state with hundreds of thousands of his supporters insisted that there would be no election in Anambra State in November and in the other four South East States in 2019. Saying that a Sovereign State of Biafra was the only solution, he said that only referendum not power devolution to States nor restructuring will solve the problems of the country. Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu , at a courtesy visit paid to him by the leaders of Igbo Civil Society Coalition  led by Obasi Igwe , has said that he was offered in prison Biafra with only five states. According to Vanguard , Kanu said he rejected the offer, adding that he also wanted Benue and Rivers states. He also claimed to have been offered an oil bloc and a mansion in Dubai, gifts offered to tempt him to abandon the cause of a sovereign Biafra. He said he rejected them both. The IPOB leader said he insisted on the actualization of Biafra, that those things were “Greek gifts.” He said: “They gave me Biafra in Prison with only the five Igbo states; I said no, I want Benue and Rivers. Biafra is coming, there is nothing to stop it.”

The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has written an open letter to the leader of the Indeginous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, asking him to drop his vein sense of Emperorism in the struggle for Biafra. In the letter signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye, the party condemned him for his recent threat that there would be no election in the South East, starting with Anambra whose governorship election is slated in November, if FG does not agree on a referendum for Biafra. Kanu said this in a recent interview with DW Africa (Read  here ). Katsina Governor Makes Alarming Biafra Comments

The governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari has in an interview recently said that the dream of Biafra can never become a reality. Masari, who described the agitations as an expression freedom, said it is just like the time when Boko Haram wanted to declare sovereignty, and Oodua People’s Congress were making different agitations. He said that just as those agitations did not see the light of day, the same will be for Biafra. He added that referendum cannot give them Biafra. The governor of the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari said, “Agitations are bound to continue. Yesterday, it was Boko Haram trying to create an empire. Before then, we have the OPC (Oodua People’s Congress). The governor of Imo State Owelle Rochas Okorocha has said that what the Igbos need now is the Movement for the Economic Survival of Igbo People (MOESIP) and not any movement for the sovereign State of Biafra stating that leaders from other geo-Political Zones supporting the secession movement do not love the Igbos. The Enugu State police command has issued a warning to the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB and Biafra Independence Movement, BIM against forcing it members to stay indoors on May 30 , a day slated to celebrate the 50 years of declaration of the defunct Biafran Republic. IPOB and BIM had given a sit-at-home order to people of the region to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the declaration of Biafra by the late indigenous leader, Dim Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.  They are said to have been sending messages via Whatsapp and Facebook to it members to observe the special day by staying indoors as a sign of respect for those who died during and after the three years civil war from 1967 to 1970. We Will Confront You – Nigerian Police Threatens IPOB Members

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has warned the Indigenous People of Biafra against street protest during the May Day celebration in Abuja on Monday, adding that it was ready to confront any threat to public peace and harmony. The command in a statement on Sunday by its spokesman, ASP Usen Omorodion warned the group to desist from its planned action. It said intelligence at its disposal indicated that IPOB members planned to take over Abuja streets, which it said may result in breakdown of law and order. “Intelligence report at the disposal of police revealed that a certain group identified as the indigenous people of Biafra has threatened to take over the streets of FCT in the name of registering their protest. “The commissioner of police hereby warns individual and groups against indulging in acts of protest that will result to breakdown of law and order in the federal capital territory.” The force said it would not fold its arms and watch criminal elements hide unde...

Fayose Named With The Title Honorary Governor Of Biafran Region By IPOB

Following his recent display of courage and support to the leader of The Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB),  Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has been named with the title of honorary governor of Biafra Republic.  This was disclosed in a statement made available to PUNCH and signed by Emma Powerful, its media and publicity secretary. “We also acknowledge the immense contributions of the honorary Biafran Gov. Ayodele Fayose who did what no south-east or south-south governor had the courage to do,” the statement reads in part. IPOB also commended Osita Chidoka and Femi Fani-Kayode, former aviation ministers; Chukwuma Soludo, Pat Utomi, Ike Ekweremau, deputy senate president; Enyinnaya Abaribe and others “for their support in the release of its leaders.”

  Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, finally regained his freedom around 6:40pm on Friday after he perfected all the bail conditions that were handed to him by trial Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja. Kanu who arrived the high court premises around 6:20pm in a black Toyota jeep with registration number ABC-46-MU, was formally released to Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, a Jewish High Chief Priest, Immanuu-El Shalom and a Chartered Accountant residing in Abuja, Mr. Tochukwu Uchendu. Kanu’s lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor and the three sureties were at the high court registry earlier in the day to sign the necessary bail documents. However, in line with an order of the Judge, the IPOB leader was brought back to the court from Kuje prison to sign and undertaken that he would be available to answer to the five-count charge the Federal Government entered against him.
