Alaafin Of Oyo Steps Out With Numerous Wives

Image
He remains the strongest monarch in the south Why? At 79, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi’s harem of women is of a remarkable number. Though there are older queens in the palace, he has quite a handful of younger queens who step out with him to events. His youngest queen, Olori Ola will clock 27 in a few days. A boxer who is also a gym enthusiast, you would clearly notice the rivalry in the young queens by their painstaking efforts for huge followership on social media especially on Instagram and the crave to dress gorgeously than the other. When the monarch marked his 79th birthday on October 15, the messages from his very young wives caught attention. Signs & Symptoms That You May Have Kidney Stones

Image
Hardly will you not find in the news one person infected with  kidney stones . Here is an article we saw on healthline and we recommend it to you. Kidney stones  are hard collections of salt and minerals often made up of calcium or uric acid. They form inside the kidney and can travel to other parts of the urinary tract. Stones vary in size. Some are as small as the period at the end of this sentence — a fraction of an inch. Others can grow to a few inches across. Some kidney stones can become so large they take up the entire kidney. A kidney stone forms when too much of certain minerals in your body accumulate in your urine. When you aren’t well hydrated, your urine becomes more concentrated with higher levels of certain minerals. When mineral levels are higher, it’s more likely that a kidney stone will form. Smaller kidney stones that remain in the kidney often don’t cause any symptoms. You might not notice anything is amiss until the stone moves into your ureter...

Anytime I step out to tell the world that this is my girlfriend, I end up losing the girl - Iyanya

Image
Kukere exponent, Iyanya, is blessed with a physique most women drool over. He knows this perhaps, little wonder he pulls off his shirt on stage and winds his waist during performance. But even as most people may think he showcases his sexual appeal to swoon the ladies, the artiste told  Saturday beats  he does that just for entertainment purposes.  The singer who spoke on his love life said that although he is single at the moment with no hopes of getting hooked to a lady any time soon, he is running from women.  “How do I miss the attention of women when I am running away from them? Check me out, even without music, you think I would not get girls?  Girls are not an issue, they flock around me and it is even happening as I speak with you. I am not in love with anybody at the moment because I am focused on a lot of things. When the time comes, nobody would know.” Apparently referring to the relationship that was rumoured that he had with Ghanaian...

Couple steals mad woman's baby after 15 years of childless marriage

Image
For  a Nasarawa State-based couple, it was like divine love made in heaven when they consummated their marriage 15 years ago. A few months into their sizzling affair, both agreed to abstain from sex until the completion of their traditional marriage rites, unknown to the wife, Theresa, that Awaji Chodi, her 43-year-old heartthrob who suggested the idea, was born impotent. Husband born impotent, wife has no womb Unfortunately, Theresa, aged 41, had also lost her womb while she was a student at the Government Secondary School, Nyayan, a suburb of Abuja, where she graduated in 1996. But it was a secret she closely guarded after doctors told her some years ago that her womb had been damaged by a quack she had contracted to procure an abortion. For her, it was a painful discovery, which had earlier cost her marriage proposal from a man she identified as Mr. Solomon Aku, who divorced his wife after 10years of childless marriage. To avoid a repeat of his unpleasant experience, ...

The Broken Woman: Forgotten but not Forgotten By Blossom Obi | @BlossomObi3

Image
“I don’t blame him, he was suffering inside” I thought to myself, “but so was I”. I watched Victor stagger into the living room very late that night. I had dozed off on a twin couch after a purposeless day waiting for him to return home. He reeked off alcohol and cheap perfume, I was disgusted by the sight of him so much that I pitied him. He moved straight towards my direction as if I was invincible, he fell straight on the other side of where I sat, snoring as he slept. I felt something tore at my chest, I didn’t know whether it was anger, hurt or rejection. I pulled off his shoes, got a blanket and covered him up. I didn’t sleep much, I kept thinking, “where could she be? and how much time would we spend together” Anna was five when she passed away as a result of my carelessness. I got pregnant in my finals for victor while we dated in school. He denied it and broke up with me. I kept it and it produced an angel, Anna, who became everything to me. Five years after vic...

Image
2016 OMA Award Best Male Artiste Of The Year winner and talented singer SnowBird counts his blessings as he adds another year today 22nd October. He cements the jollification with the release of two infectious singles Re Bounce and OyeGo. The former is a lovely song that tells a true life story inspired by the life and time of African Music legend Fela Anikulako Kuti. A story of struggle, hardship, rejection, the only thing that keeps him going is the love and passion for the game, alas joy comes in the morning. “To all them that didn’t believe in us, we go do them Re-Bounce.” The latter is equally one of the greatest carousal tune, a fusion of old skool sound with new skool vibes that perfectly compliments. As the name goes, Oyego referring to a delicacy well prepared and ready for consumption or as he uses the word Ofe Oyego(the soup is ready). Tracks were produced by Trez and Nutty2 respectively. SnowBird had earlier featured in a motivational street hip hop song ...

Inside Ogun church where Satan is a ‘brother’ & worshippers are served alcohol (Photo)

Image
Without doubt, churches have denominations and patterns of worship differ, but when you stumble on one, where weird activities are the order of the day and alcohol, animal sacrifices and biblical villains like Nebuchadnezzar, Ahab and even Satan are deified, then  you’ve just encountered worship redefined. Tabitha Pearl writes. A Christian worship centre or church is a place where you expect everything but the absurd and the weird. But this was precisely what this reporter beheld few weeks back when she went snooping at “As God said, It Must Be Done, The temple of the Most High God,’ located in Oke-Aro in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State. A mere N100 bus ride from the popular Agege/Pen Cinema Bus-Stop, took this reporter to As God Said Street – the street is named after the church. A short commercial motorcycle ride took this reporter to the church’s doorstep. The temple is flanked on one side by what used to be a mosque and the other by a ...
