At 35 Years, You Can Now Run To Become President In Nigeria
Nigerian senate has reviewed and approved a new age qualification to run for a political office in Nigeria and the present list seem to favor the youth.
Gone are the days when you must be a grandfather before you are qualified to run for any reasonable political office.
The new age is now 35 years of age to be elected President or Vice President, 30 to be a Senator or State Governor, and 25 to be a Representative in parliament as against the old that states that a person must be at least 40 years of age to be elected President or Vice President, 35 to be a Senator or State Governor, and 30 to be a Representative in parliament.
