3 things Imo 2019 guber aspirant Dr. Linus Okorie said about raising women leaders

Image
On Sunday April 15, 2018 leadership coach and Imo 2019 governorship aspirant, Dr. Linus Okorie held two leadership workshops at Rockview Hotels, Owerri.  The training workshop focused on why the world needs women leaders and how you can become an extra ordinary leader.  Here are three things he said:  1. Women are the biggest influencers you can think of.  Eva Peron, wife of former Argentina President Juan Peron wielded such powers and was very instrumental in her husband's political career.  "The makeup of a   woman is such that the woman is an influential person.  It is either she impacts you on the positive or negative." "How many people have heard the song "Dont cry for me Argentina?”. The song is written because of a woman that is called Eva Peron. Eva Peron is perhaps the most widely known female figure in Argentine history. Evita as she is often known was instrumental in championing both the rights of...

2019: IMO STATESMEN, YOUTHS ENDORSE LINUS OKORIE by Amb. I. D. Anyanwu

Image
The 2019 general elections would soon be upon us,  political alignment, realignment and horse trading for the futures of local governments,  states,  legislative assemblies and federal executive will be decided in 2019. Gubernatorial wise,  a few states have moved forward since the 2015 general elections yet many more have remained in the doldrums and are yet to come  out of the woods. The next four years is very crucial in the political history of  Nigeria but more so in a few states than others.  It is more apt in Imo State. For all Imolites,  the question should be: Are we ready to stand tall among others in the comity of States in Nigeria? Are we as Imolites ready to harness our God given human and material resources to our benefit? The race to occupy the post of Executive Governor of Imo State in 2019 is nearing it's climax, but before final day when the electorate will make the final choice,  let's sp...

Image
Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Ifu Ennada, on Sunday lambasted fellow housemate, Bambam for being fake. Speaking during her diary session with Biggie, Ennada who escaped eviction described Bambam as the dirtiest housemate in terms of thoughts. According to Ennada, “Bambam is not real, she has the dirtiest thought. She is not real, she tried to do me bad.” Recall that Bambam has been in the news lately for the wrong reasons. The self-acclaimed 'Born-again' Christian and church worker was caught on camera having s*x with fellow housemate, Teddy A in the toilet. Following the s*xual act, a lady who claimed to be a family friend of Bambam, identified as Fisayo Awonuga alleged that parent’s of the housemate are angry with her for having s*x with Teddy A in the toilet.

It has been reported that some suspected herdsmen have chopped off the fingers and toes of a farmer identified as Osakwe Benard, in Abraka, Delta State, for trying to stop them from grazing their herd on his farm. Vanguard reports that the man, Osakwe Benard, 48, and a father of five, narrowly escaped death as his assailants fled the scene after his cry attracted other farmers in the area, who rescued him. Confirming the incident yesterday, member representing the area in the state House of Assembly, Chief Evance Ivwurie, said:  “Osakwe had gone to his farm when he saw the herdsmen grazing their herds on his farm. “He started screaming for them to leave, not knowing that one of them, who held him for the others, was lurking behind him. “They chopped off the entire toe area of his leg to the middle and the fingers of his two hands were also cut off.” On efforts being put in place to checkmate the activities of herdsmen in the area, Ivwurie, who stated that the p...

Mahammadu Buhari, His Two-Headed Dragon & His War Against Terror(Part 1) By Femi Fani Kayode

MUHAMMADU BUHARI, HIS TWO-HEADED DRAGON AND HIS 'WAR' AGAINST TERROR (PART 1) By Femi Fani Kayode "No-one is more hated than he who speaks truth"- Plato. These deeply profound and insighful words of Plato, Ancient Greece's greatest and most reverred philospher, who was a student of the great Socrates and a teacher of the great Aristotle, are as true today as they were in 400 BC when he wrote them. You will not read the following account about President Muhammadu Buhari's so-called "war against terror" in Nigeria's mainstream media because they have mostly been compromised and intimidated by the Federal Government. You can however read it in this two-part essay if you are interested in knowing the truth. I urge as many of those that care and that can get through it to spread the word and let the international community know the truth about what the Nigerian people are passing through. Despite the hatred and aggression it always...
